Hunter's Heart LLC ("Hunter's Heart," "we," "us," "our") operates https://huntershearthealth.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us - Early list and email signups: your email address. - Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, your pet's details, and your message. - Quizzes and assessments (such as the Canine Longevity Score and the Calm Test): your name, email, and details about your dog, including behavior, age, breed, and health or wellness information you choose to share. - Orders and checkout: your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and order details. If you create an account, your account details and order history. - Chat assistant: the messages you send to our AI assistant. - Comments: if comments are enabled, the information in the comment form.

Payment information Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe may collect payment and device information to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically When you visit the Site we and our providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, and similar usage data, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To provide quiz results and personalized wellness information for your dog.
  • To process, ship, and support orders, including payments, refunds, and returns.
  • To send you updates about our products, launches, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. We will still send order-related messages.
  • To operate and improve the Site, our products, and our chat assistant.
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the Site secure.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business: - Service providers: Mailchimp (email), Stripe (payments), Chatbase (chat assistant), OpenAI (AI processing for assessments), Make and Airtable (automation and record keeping), Google Analytics (analytics), WooCommerce and WordPress (store and website), and our hosting and email providers. - Shipping carriers: your name, address, and contact details so they can deliver your order. - Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or the Site. - Business transfers: if Hunter's Heart is involved in a sale, merger, or similar transaction.

These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may only use it to provide services to us.

4. AI chat assistant

Our on-site assistant uses artificial intelligence. Conversations are stored and processed by our chat provider so the assistant can respond and so we can improve it. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat. The assistant provides general wellness information only and does not replace a veterinarian.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies (small files stored on your device) for these purposes: - Essential store cookies (WooCommerce): keep items in your cart and remember your session during checkout. They are needed for the store to work. Session cookies expire after about two days. - Analytics (Google Analytics): help us understand how visitors use the Site. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies. - Comments (if enabled): if you choose to save your name, email, and website when commenting, cookies remember them for one year. - Spam detection: if you comment, we collect your IP address and browser user agent. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to check whether you have a profile picture. - Login (account holders only): cookies keep you signed in. They last about two days, or two weeks if you select "Remember me".

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout may not work.

6. How long we keep information

  • Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Contact messages and email correspondence: up to 3 years.
  • Quiz and assessment responses: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
  • Chat conversations: up to 24 months.
  • Order, payment, and tax records: up to 7 years.
  • Account information: until you close your account or ask us to delete it.

We may keep information longer when the law requires it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by writing to info@huntershearthealth.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where required, within 45 days.

Residents of California and some other U.S. states have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. To use these rights, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity first.

8. Health information

The Site, quizzes, and assistant provide general wellness information only. They are not veterinary advice and do not replace your veterinarian. For any health concern about your dog, contact a veterinarian.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
